The Harold L. Lyon Arboretum is a part of the University of Hawai’i and a public botanical garden. Lyon Arboretum’s research and focus on conservation biology has led to the development of the Hawaiian Rare Plant Program (HRPP), which consists of 3 facilities; a Micropropagation Lab, a Rare Plant Greenhouse, and a Seed Conservation Lab.
