This guide was made specifically for Leica programs and microscopes. The microscope we used to create this how-to guide is the Leica M205 C, consisting of z-stacking capabilities and a motorized column for effortless imaging.
Overexposure
When an image is overexposed, it means it was exposed to too much light during the imaging process. Parts of your specimen will look glowing or blurred out.
You can play with exposure in Lightroom, but it is much better to start with a properly exposed picture.
To avoid overexposure, start with a lower exposure and slowly increase it until you get the desired brightness. If you feel like the image isn’t bright enough but cannot increase the exposure or lighting without overexposing your image, try decreasing the contrast.
Note: If the image is overexposed in HDR mode, uncheck Automatic mode and manually adjust the brightness settings.
